The Army Corps of Engineers’ Contractor has once again changed the schedule of the Beach Replenishment project on Long Beach Island. It will now begin in mid to late April in Ship Bottom. The project is expected to be there for about a month, then it will move into Long Beach Twp.  It will then proceed south in Long Beach Twp, until the project finishes in Holgate. In August, they will also begin to work on the north end of Long Beach Twp. The work expected to be completed sometime in April of 2016.
