I like to say I was “pushed” into insurance by my mother-in-law, Mary, in 1989. I was in a dead end job with no possibility of moving forward. Mary knew how unhappy I was in my current position and she recommended me to one of her friends, Joe Brogan, to work in his agency in Bayonne. Working with Joe at his agency made me realize insurance was not just going to be a job, insurance was going to be a career. Through the years I worked at a few other agencies until I came to work at the Van Dyk Group in 2013. I started as a producer and over the years my job has blossomed to my current position of client development specialist. I think one of the best assets I bring to the agency is my ability to work with clients to ensure they receive the most comprehensive coverage at the most competitive price.
