Since we opened our doors in 1946, we have made commitment to our community a priority. Our customers are our friends and neighbors, our employees like family, and contributing to causes that affect them is important to us. These are a few of the organizations we have partnered with.

Southern Ocean Chamber of Commerce

Family Promise works to help families in local Jersey Shore communities, including LBI, Manahawkin & Barnegat, facing homelessness. Through a variety of programs, they work to get individuals back on their feet. It is a special feeling for our Van Dyk Family to be a part of food drives and more to assist families who need it.

Hackensack Meridian Southern Ocean Medical Center

Having a local hospital is not only beneficial for residents but for our vacation renters and summer residents as well. We are proud supporters of the Southern Ocean Medical Center that strives to improve facilities and patient care for all community members of the Jersey Shore & LBI Region.

David’s Dream & Believe Cancer Foundation

This organization is incredibly special to the Van Dyk Group Family, as we have had loved ones, neighbors, employees, and friends personally touched by cancer. As a nonprofit organization, DDBCF, works to raise funds to provide financial assistance, wellness services and HOPE to families in New Jersey facing a cancer diagnosis.

Family Promise of Southern Ocean County

St. Francis of Assisi Parish and Center

As a local place of worship for LBI renters & homeowners, St. Francis has long been a part of the LBI region. They are more than just a church as they have a Food Bank, Senior Programs, Recreational Activities and a variety of community programs and services. Supporting events like the Festival of the Sea is not only fun but a way to help keep programming growing.

Stafford Historical Society

The Historical Society is dedicated to preserving the history of Stafford Township and Downtown Manahawkin. We are proud to support their efforts by sponsoring their Summer Concert Series which bring residents together at Manahawkin Lake Park for music and fun.

Stafford Recreation

Dedicated to providing recreational activities & events to residents of all ages in Manahawkin, Stafford Recreation is a great community organization. With recreational sports to young kids to Garden Club and Adult Programming hat will appeal to adult communities, there is something for everyone. We love being able to sponsor local teams and sports programs to help children’s programs going.

Events

While we have many special continuous community partnerships, The Van Dyk Group Real Estate & Insurance Group are proud to support a variety of events that take place throughout the local community. From school activities to sports teams to community theatre programming, many of our kids, grandkids, and neighbors are a part of these and we pride ourselves in the ability to support them.

Stafford Township PTO Chefs Tour
Strong schools build strong communities, so supporting them is something we enjoy. The Chef’s Tour is the Stafford PTO’s biggest fundraiser and one we have been proud to support for well over 10 years.

Southern Regional High School Scholarship Program
We are proud to be able to donate scholarships to our local high schools in Manahawkin & Barnegat for years. It is an honor to present these hard-working graduates with a reward for their future endeavors.

Southern Regional High School Sports
Not only do we love watching our local athletes, we are happy to support their programs such as Football, Soccer, Lacrosse, Field Hockey, Track and many more.

I Support the Girls
I Support the Girls collects and distributes essential items including bras, underwear, and menstrual hygiene products. This enables women experiencing homelessness, impoverishment, or distress to stand tall with dignity. An important organization that does amazing work globally.

Barnegat Pirates Day
Supporting local events is always fun and Pirate’s Day is no exception. Helping to support events that all our families will enjoy for years to come is important to us.

Food Drives
There are so many families all over the Jersey Shore who are without. It is a privilege to be able to hold food drives for groups like Food Warriors, who support our Active Duty Troops, St. Francis Food Pantry, the Atlantic City Rescue Mission, and more throughout the year.

Bellarine Theatre Company
The performing arts is an amazing part of any community, but especially ours. Whether you live here year-round or are enjoying a beach vacation and looking for a fun evening activity, Bellarine Theatre Company productions are ones everyone will enjoy. We are proud supporters of this local group.
