Mr. Peter J. Papa began his professional career in 1973 with the London based Royal Globe Insurance Co. In 1976 he transitioned from the corporate to the private insurance sector specializing in risk management, consulting and brokerage. He holds the insurance designations of Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and earned the designation of Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS). He is a graduate of Montclair State University (1972). Peter is currently a Sr. Account Executive and Risk Management Consultant with The Van Dyk Group. Peter has had the opportunity to work with a variety of clients in the fields of construction, manufacturing, commercial real estate, public entities, and professionals such as architects, engineers, lawyers and physicians. He personally has developed and offers a custom insurance program for land surveyors which includes property, casualty and professional liability. Peter is approved as an accredited instructor for continuing education credits required by surveyors and design professionals. Risk Mitigation services include an extensive Risk Analysis Survey (RAS) which incorporates a comprehensive risk management review of his client’s overall operations. The RAS contains an Executive Report that outlines his client’s exposure to risk of loss to assets as well as implementation of methods to mitigate and finance the risk of loss. These risk mitigation services can be on a retainer basis as the client’s off-site risk manager and or the client’s insurance broker. The Premium Expense Recovery process is based on an in-depth analysis of insurance policies coverage and premium exposures that can result in recovering premium overpayments not only on the client’s current insurance program but also on a 3-year retroactive period.
